Alexandria Boudreau

Alexandria (Sandy) Boudreau has lived on Cape Cod all her life and raised her three children here. Art has always been a big part of her life. She recently retired from the Dennis-Yarmouth School district after having taught art on Cape Cod for 40 years. She made a decision to start painting with her former art teacher Polly Hopkins several years ago and enjoyed once again the love of art.

 

Sandy is a juried member of the Cape Cod Art Center and a member of the Cape and Islands Art Educators and the Yarmouth Art Guild. The beauty of Cape Cod has always inspired her to paint marine scenes. Her preferred medium is watercolor but also paints oils and acrylics.

 

Alexandria has had participated in many shows at different venues on the Cape including the Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis, Cotuit Center of the Arts, Cultural Center of Cape Cod, Hyannisport Club, and the Cape Cod Art Center.. Sandy has exhibited in solo shows at the Barnstable Historical Society, Cultural Center of Cape Cod, Centerville Historical Society, South Yarmouth Library, and Cape Conservatory. She has studied with Arnold Desmarais and Sam Barber.
